William Wayne Murdock, formerly of Kingston, died Thursday, November 30, 2006 in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. He was 61.
He was born in Kingston on November 13, 1945, a son of Marie Lyons Murdock and the late William Murdock Sr. A graduate of Kingston High School, Wayne was a Ford Mustang enthusiast.
In 1975 he moved to Florida and worked as an engineer for Crane Cams of Daytona Beach, Florida. He was building a show car for display at the local monthly car show at the time of his death.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Kingston are one son Jeremy of Gainsville, FL, two daughters Shelley Murdock of Lake Katrine and Karen Murdock of New Smyrna Beach, FL.
A Memorial Service will be conducted on Sunday, April 22nd at 1:00 PM. Rev. Charles Stickley will officiate.
