William Goldberg

William Goldberg, 69 of Willow, died Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at his home. Born in the Bronx, he grew up in Bergenfield, NJ and was the son of the late Herbert & Anne Fleischman Goldberg. Bill received his undergraduate degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a master's degree from Lehman College and an advanced certificate from Hunter College. Bill enjoyed wildlife, traveling, comedy, studying Judaism, good food, reading and the cooking programs, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Bill is survived by his wife of 33 years, Daisy Furth of Willow, two sisters, Irene Goldberg Dissis of Manchester, NJ and Deborah Goldberg Greenfield and her husband Barry of Tenafly, NJ. Two nieces, Casey and Jessica and two nephews, Joel and Jordan also survive. In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by a sister, Sally Goldberg Lieberman. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the Woodstock Jewish Congregation at 2:00 PM, with Rabbi Jonathan Kligler, officiating. Interment will follow in Montrepose Cemetery.
