William David Anderson, 59, of Stone Ridge, died Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at home with his family. He was born December 17, 1951 in Osaka, Japan to Rosemary Delbauve Anderson and the late Col. William Alex Anderson, United States Army.
David was married to his loving wife Elise Jamison Anderson; they wed on July 6th 1985.
He graduated from Gannon College with a Bachelors degree in Theatre and then went on to Columbia University where he graduated with a master's degree in fine arts theatre management. He also was a graduate of the School of Business Management of UCLA
David and his wife, Elise, are the owners of The UPS Store in the Kings Mall, Kingston, New York.
He was a committee member for Troop 7 Boy Scouts of America, a member of the Chamber of Commerce and a parishioner of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church.
In addition to his wife and his mother he is survived by his sons William Alex Anderson and Adam Jared Anderson of Stone Ridge, his siblings Susan Anderson of Princeton, NJ, Stephen Anderson of Dublin, Ireland, Karen Anderson of Loysville, PA, Kevin Anderson of Austin, TX, Beth Anderson-Song of Newburyport as well as twelve nieces and nephews.
Entrusted to the care of the A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, NY 12401, where the procession will form on Monday at 9:00 AM and proceed to St. Josephs RC Church where at 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be held.
Burial will follow in Hurley Cemetery.
Friends may call on Sunday from 3 - 7 pm at the funeral home.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Boy Scout Troop 7, 111 Fairway Drive, Hurley, NY 12443.
