William C. "Bill" Sill
Accomplished photographer, craftsman, and celebrated local actor, William Sill died Wednesday June 20, 2012 from complications of a life well-lived; He was 71.
A 1959 graduate of Kingston High School, Bill was well-known throughout the region for his theatrical turns, including those with The Coach House Players and most recently the Hudson Valley Ballet. As a professional photographer, his work was the subject of exhibitions, appeared in national publications, and demonstrated the artistic touch he brought to many aspects of his life, from cooking, to painting, right down to the way he walked.
A notorious joke-teller and continually frustrated golfer, he was the son of the late William H. Sill and Elizabeth Blass Sill. His sister, Margaret Sill Iannoe, is also passed.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Yvonne, his children, Christopher and his wife Ingrid, David, Thomas and his wife Sharon, James and his wife Sarah, Michael and his fiance Karina and Catherine Ladd and her husband David, five grandchildren, Alexander, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Jayson and Michael Jr. and the hundreds of people he touched with humor and charm. He is missed.
Entrusted to the care of Eric Keyser, A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, the family will receive their friends on Friday from 3 - 7 pm. The service will be on Saturday at 10 a.m.

The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, donations to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Please mail donations to Keith Bennett's Karate c/o Chris Sill, 53 Albany Avenue, Kingston NY 12401. It is a donation in Bill's honor for a fund raiser to be held on July 21st.
