Wilbert Altman

Wilbert "Jet" Altman, 73, of Kingston, passed away Wednesday October 15th 2014. He was born in Hollandale, MS on October 29th, 1940 to the late Fannie and Robert Altman.


Jet loved his music, especially the Blues and greatly enjoyed watching religious programming on TV. He spent many fun and happy times in Atlantic City and Monticello with Lois and his friends. For many years Jet worked for Davenport Farms and later was employed by IBM and Adirondack Trailways in Kingston.


Jet is survived by his beloved companion of over thirty years, Lois Williams, his sisters, Lessie Graham, Maggie Turner, and Lucille Robinson, as well as many nieces, nephews, and a multitude of close friends.


Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, where friends and family may visit on Monday October 20th from 5 to 7pm with the funeral service starting at 7pm.
