Wendy Drake-Ennist

Wendy Drake-Ennist of Rt. 32, Tillson died Monday, July 31, 2006 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 40. She was born November 26, 1965 in Kingston, a daughter of Gertrude Lyons Drake and the late Allan Drake. Wendy received her bachelor of science from Suny New Paltz and was employed as a teaching assistant at the New Paltz Middle School. She was an avid gardener and crafter, a devoted mother and a dear friend to many. Her husband, Paul Ennist whom she married August 14, 1996 died March 9, 2006. Surviving in addition to her mother, is her son, Mathew William Ennist, her sister, Cheryl Bigelow, her brother-in-law Dan Bigelow, two brothers, Jonathan Bigelow and his wife Suzanne and Larry Bigelow. She was the aunt of Caitlyn, Madison, Alyssa, Alex and Kalei Bigelow. Reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston on Tuesday from 2 – 4 pm and 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 am by the Rev. Nickolas Miles. Cremation will be private.
