Wayne Eugene MacDonald, Sr., an American Patriot, passed away on November 1, 2021 at Westchester Medical Center following a brief illness. He loved his family, God, and Country, in that order.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sandra Lee MacDonald, his sons, Wayne Eugene MacDonald, Jr., and his wife Theresa, Jason William MacDonald and his wife Jodie, and his beloved grandchildren, Marina, Ashley, Addison, Emerson, and Cameron MacDonald and Jessica and Nicholas Lopes. Donna Fischer and Linda Nemer, his sisters, survive him and his brothers George and Robert predeceased him. His dear friends John and Karen are forever in his heart. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
He was a welder by trade and worked at AKT Industries. He retired from Dyno Nobel in 1994. Wayne served his country in Vietnam in Company B 575th Engineering Battalion Third US Army until his honorable discharge in 1968. Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Sunday November 7, 2021 from 2pm to 5pm. The funeral service will follow at 5pm.
