Walter Streib

Walter Eric Streib, 62, formerly of Kingston, NY, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023. He was born on February 21, 1961 in Kingston, NY, son of the late Waldemar and Wilhelmina (Hoppe) Streib.

Walter attended Kingston High School during which time he was a member of The Kingston Indians Drum and Bugle Corps. He was also a former member of the YMCA in Kingston where he enjoyed swimming and lifting weights.

He is survived by his aunts, Trudi Hopp of Kingston and Frieda Constant and her husband Douglas of Hurley, his uncle, Edward Hopp and his wife Evelyn of West Hurley, as well as many cousins. In addition to his parents, Walter is predeceased by his aunt, Lydia Coffey.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Kingston, NY. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Thursday December 14, 2023 at Fairview Cemetery in Stone Ridge, NY.
