Walter Klubenspies

Walter G. Klubenspies, 87, of Kingston, NY, passed away on October 25, 2023 peacefully in his sleep at home. He was born March 5, 1936 in Kingston, NY, to the late J. Walter and Mabel (Jacobsen) Klubenspies. He was married to his wife of 52 years, Harriette, who predeceased him in 2017.

At the age of 18, Walter enlisted and served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He later received his Bachelor’s degree from SUNY New Paltz.

Walter is survived by his sisters-in-law, Charlotte (Jay) Shaffer and Janet (Stewart) James, his nieces and nephew, Rachel (Mark) Davis, Michelle (David) Cicchitelli, and Justin LePage, his great nieces and nephews, Eric and Samantha Davis and Dylan and Maya Cicchitelli. Also, his good friends, Ruthanna Kellerhouse, Peter and Deb Lundgren and the rest of Congregation Adat Chaim Messianic Synagogue.

Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY 12401, the service will begin at 12:00pm on Sunday, October 29 with Mr. Peter Lundgren, officiating.
