Vivian M. Bodie

Vivian M. Bodie, 82, of Kingston, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013. She was born August 7, 1931 in Kingston to the late Edgar and Emma (Wood) Peterson.

She was married to Carl S. Bodie Sr. who passed away in 2005.

Vivian worked as the custodian for Redeemer Lutheran Church in Kingston for 25 years. She was a member of the church and participated in the sewing group and Altar Guild.

Vivian is survived by her son Carl (Betsy) Bodie Jr., her grandsons, Nathanael (Kara), Benjamin (Amanda Perry), and Joshua (Lindsey King) Bodie, her great grandchildren, Cole & Everlee, her twin sister, Virginia Sutton, and her siblings, Rusty, Eddie, & Jackie. She is predeceased by her infant daughter, Carol Bodie.

The family would like to thank Terry & Ken Sutton for the loving care they gave to Vivian.

Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, where friends may call on October 17th from 4 to 7pm. The service will start at 7pm.
