Virginia Louise Felece

Virginia Louise Felece, formerly of Syracuse, died Monday, September 1, 2008 at Ferncliff Nursing Home, Rhinebeck. She was 90. She was born in Syracuse on June 11, 1918 a daughter of the late Tomasz and Maria Grochulska Glowacki. For many years Mrs. Felece worked, as a bookkeeper, for Associated Coca Cola Bottling, Syracuse. She was a parishioner of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Syracuse. Her husband Joseph Francis Felece died in October 1943. Two brothers John and Joseph Glowacki and one sister Bertha McBurnie all died previously. Surviving are one son Joseph C. Felece and his wife Barbara of Lake Katrine; one sister Helen Floreck of Syracuse; one grandson Colin Felece; several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Syracuse. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
