Viola E. Moxham, 75, of Saugerties, formerly of Esopus, died Friday, April 13, 2012, at Ten Broeck Commons. She was born March 29, 1937 in New York City, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Viola (Golden) Taylor Sr. Viola was predeceased by her husband, Donald, whom she married on May 21, 1960.
Vi was raised in The Bronx, and in her teens moved to Washingtonville. She is a graduate of Washingtonville High School. Upon marrying her husband Donald, Vi moved to the Town of Esopus where she lived with her family for many years. She was most recently employed with Allstate Insurance in the Town of Ulster.
Survivors include a son, Peter J. Moxham and his wife Jaclyn of Westerly, Rhode Island; a brother, Joseph W. Taylor Jr. and his wife Debbie of Victoria Corner, New Brunswick; brother- and sister-in-law George and Sarah "Claire" Moxham of Ulster Park, and several nieces and nephews.
