Vincent James Filomena

Kingston- Vincent "Jim" Filomena of Wilson Ave. died Monday, Dec. 29, 2014 at HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus. He was 76. He was born in Flushing, NY a son of the late James V. and Margaret Cunningham Filomena. An Air Force veteran, Jim taught in the New York City School System for 35 years. Surviving is his wife, Joann Stover Filomena; two sons, Joseph and his wife Donna of Franklin Square and Thomas and his wife Delin of Garden City; his step-daughter Jennifer Cantero and a sister, Dorothy Rais of Brookfield, FL. Three grandchildren, James, Thomas and Tara Filomena also survive. Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston. Cremation was private.
