Vincent G. Edwards, 90, of Saugerties, NY, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021. He was born May 23, 1931 in Kingston, NY, son of the late Ellsworth and Anna (Sapp) Edwards. Vincent was married to Elizabeth (Golden) Edwards, Elizabeth passed away in 2002.
He served his country in the US Army as a Military Police Officer during the Korean War. Vincent later worked as welder for the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #21 for 46 years. He had remarkable skill as a welder, creating many custom pieces and furniture for his family. He was a member of the VFW.
Vincent is survived by his children, Michelle (Jud) Williams of Ulster Park, Melanie Belles of Saugerties, Melissa Labrecque and her significant other Jim Howard of Seattle, WA, Mindy (Michael Tillman) Ector of Saugerties, and Monique (Mark Perry) Edwards of Ruby, as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and other family members. In addition to his wife and parents, he is predeceased by his son, Michael Edwards
