Valentino ''Tino'' Reynaud, 85, of Ulster Park, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Golden Hill Health Care Center in Kingston. He was born August 31, 1926 in New York City to the late Henry and Rose (Merano) Reynaud.
He married his loving wife, Margaret "Peggy" (Long) Reynaud in March of 1957. Peggy passed away on December 17, 2002.
Tino served his country in the Navy during World War II. After returning home he worked as a bartender at the Copacabana in Manhattan where he befriended Dean Martin, Lena Horne and Jack Entratter. Tino later moved to Ulster Park and worked as a self employed contractor. He was an avid golfer, bowler and Yankee fan.
Tino is survived by his children; Mark Reynaud and his significant other Jodi Villielm of Ulster Park, Janet Reynaud-Freer of Ulster Park, John Reynaud and his wife Donna Lowe-Reynaud of West Shokan, Steve Reynaud and his significant other Erica Regan of Windham, grandchildren, Jeremy Reynaud, Michael Freer, Chelsea, Nate & Adam Reynaud, Connor Regan and Samantha Swanson.
He is predeceased by his brother Valdo Reynaud and sister-in-law Anne Reynaud.
Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 216 Broadway, Port Ewen, where friends may call on Sunday from 4 to 7pm. The funeral service will take place on Monday at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Montrepose Cemetery, Kingston.
