Timothy Richard Larson of Moreno Valley, CA, died suddenly, October 23rd, 2010 of injuries received in an airplane accident near his home.




Tim was born September 18, 1969 in Kingston, New York, the beloved son of Kathleen Larson and the late Richard Larson. In addition to his mother, Tim is survived by his fianc, Janina Clark, his sister Tara Capecci and brother-in-law Donald Capecci, sisters Tracy Larson, and Amy Larson, nieces Alexandra and Natasha Capecci, and his devoted dog, Ashley. He graduated from John A. Coleman High School in 1987 and received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona.




Tim was employed by Atlas Air cargo carrier, where he held the position of Captain on Boeing 747-400 aircraft, flying to countries throughout the world.




In addition to his love for flying, Tim was also an avid motorcyclist, hunter, fisherman, archer and skier who enjoyed life to the fullest. He was known for his sense of humor, generous nature, and ability to make everyone feel important. His friendships knew no national boundaries.




The remains are entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 216 Broadway, Port Ewen. Friends may call on Friday from 4 to 9 P.M. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held this Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Presentation R.C. Church, Father Kelly Drive, Port Ewen, NY. Father Carl Johnson, Celebrant. Burial will be in Montrepose Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Tim's favorite charity the Wounded Warriors fund at www.woundedwarriorproject.org . or PO Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
