Timothy J. OBrien, 53, of Kingston, died Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in Kingston, he was a son of the late Joseph T. & Mary L. Feehly OBrien.
Tim was a car enthusiast and a collector of classic cars. He loved tinkering with cars old and new and was a frequent participant at local shows. While Tim loved his cars, his children were his pride and joy. Tim was employed by Ellicott Development Corp of Buffalo, NY, as a project manager.
Tim is survived by his wife Maria Ricci OBrien, a daughter, Leah P. OBrien of Kingston, a son, Teige J. OBrien of Kingston, two sisters, Mary E. Babe OBrien of Poughkeepsie, Michelle OBrien Zihal and her husband Michael of Saratoga Springs and one brother, Sean M. OBrien and his longtime partner, Anita Reynolds of Lake Katrine. He is also survived by a niece, Emily Zihal and two nephews, Kevin and Matthew Zihal of Saratoga Springs, NY
In addition to his parents, Tim was predeceased by a sister, Patricia M. OBrien.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 4:00 -7:00 PM.
The funeral procession will form from the funeral home on Saturday at 9:30 AM.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Colmans Church at 10:30 AM.
Inurnment will follow in St. Anns Cemetery.
