Timothy J. Ilyko of West Hurley Road, Woodstock died Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at Kingston Hospital. He was 55.
He was born October 2, 1952 in Buffalo, a son of the late John J. and Donna R. Froebel Ilyko.
An area resident since 1999, he attended the Dayhab program at Ulster-Green ARC's Pecora Center.
Timothy enjoyed watching sports and was a fan of the Yankees and the Buffalo Bills. He enjoyed reading and game shows, especially Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. He was remembered for his sense of humor.
Surviving is his sister, Maryann Katz and her husband Stephen of Poughkeepsie; his brother John T. Ilyko and his wife Colleen of Boston, MA; his nephew Harry Katz, his neice, Rachel Katz and his many dear friends at Ulster-Greene ARC with whom he lived and attended Dayhab.
A sister, Donna Ann Ilyko died previously.
A memorial gathering will take place on Tuesday from 10 - 12 noon at Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston. A memorial service will be conducted at the funeral home at 12:00 noon by Deacon Jack Peters. Inurnment will take place in St. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Williamsville at a later date.
