Tillie Reuben formerly of Stony Run Apartments died Tuesday, November 18, 2003 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 90. She was born in Kingston on April 23, 1913, a daughter of the late Abram and Anna Alcon. A lifelong area resident, Mrs. Reuben was a member of Congregation Ahavath Israel and it’s Sisterhood. Her husband Irving I. Reuben died September 14, 1995. Beloved wife of the late Irving I. Reuben; loving mother of Marc N. Reuben and his wife Jo Ann, Barbara Simonetti and her husband Jerry; grandmother of Adam Jacobson, Tanya Hunt and her husband Michael, Rachel Reuben and Jeremy Reuben; great grandmother of Amber and Ethan Hunt. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 12:00 PM at Simpson – Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. Rabbi Melody Johnston of Congregation Ahavath Israel will officiate. Interment in the Ahavath Israel section of Montrepose Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Ahavath Israel, PO Box 3063, Kingston, NY 12402 or Hospice Foundation, 34 Broadway, Kingston, NY 12401. Memorial services will be conducted at Congregation Ahavath Israel on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday evenings at 7:00 PM.
