Thyra Taylor-North

Thyra "Ty" Taylor-North, 85, passed suddenly Friday, July 18, 2014 at the Health Alliance Hospital, Broadway Campus, Kingston. She was born November 18, 1928 in Kingston the daughter of the late Clyde and Vera Davis DuBois.




She loved to cook for her family and entertain, was a member of the Ulster Senior Citizens, one of her biggest joys was taking care of her pet chihuahua's Chi Chi and Milo.




Thyra is survived by her daughters Linda Taylor - Legg of Hurley, Lori E Rider - Fenwick of Rhinebeck, son in laws George W. Legg and Michael Fenwick, a sister in law Janice Taylor of Riverview, Fl., her grand children Rebekah Ancrum, Benjamin Taylor, Crystal Taylor and William Fenwick. She was predeceased by her son Duane M. Taylor.




Entrusted to the care of Eric Keyser, A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, the family will receive their friends on Tuesday from 4 - 7 pm. The service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Stone Ridge.
