Thomas Schultz, 74, of Lake Katrine, died Thursday, April 20, 2017 at HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus.
Born in Buffalo, NY, he was a son of the late Paul & Regina Kiedrowski Schultz. Tom was retired from IBM, where he worked for over 26 years. He umpired softball for the Town of Ulster and IBM. Tom was a charitable man who also was a practical joker and always had a smile on his face. He loved the New York Yankees, the Buffalo Bills and his dogs. Tom is survived by his wife of 38 years, Rosemary Salvino Schultz, whom he married on September 29, 1979, a daughter Teresa and her husband Barry of Schenectady, two step daughters, Lori Sener of New Paltz and Tammy Vanetten and her husband John of Hyde Park. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, two nieces and two nephews also survive.
Tom was predeceased by a son, Robert Schultz and a sister, Kathleen Schultz.
Tom will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave on Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 1-5 PM.
A Funeral Prayer Service will be held at 5:00 PM at the funeral home with Fr. Rick de la Pena from St. Joseph Church, officiating.
Interment will be private.
