Thomas P. Ashdown of Foxhall Avenue, Kingston died Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at Kingston Hospital. He was 63.
A native and lifelong Kingston resident, he was born April 28, 1943, a son of Geraldine Ennist Ashdown and the late Edwin Paul Ashdown of Kingston.
A machinest by trade, Mr. Ashdown worked at Utility Platers, Ulster Precision and later at Gateway Industries. He previously worked as a truck driver.
One son Matthew Johnson and two brothers Ronald and Donald Ashdown all died previously.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Kingston, are four sons Troy Ashdown and his wife Tracy of Kingston, Scott Ashdown and his wife Mary of Kingston, Travis Ashdown of Kingston and Sean Ashdown of Kingston; one daughter Lauren Ashdown of Kingston; two sisters Sondra Kozlowski and her husband Robert of Kingston and Sharon Bakken and her husband Magnor or Okeechobee, Florida; three grandchildren Jared, Gabrielle and Dante. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Reposing at Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Avenue on Friday from 6:00 - 9:00 PM. Inurnment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery at a later date.
