Thomas K Warner Jr. of The Hills in Port Ewen died at his home Sunday May 14, 2006. He was 88.
He graduated from St. Louis University with a Bachelor's degree in accounting.
A U.S. Navy veteran of WWII, he served in the Pacific Theater of Operations.
Employed by Price Waterhouse for many years prior to and after the war, he worked as a lead accountant. He also became a Junior Partner and was responsible for opening the Stanford, CT., offices. After leaving Price Waterhouse, Thomas worked for Bemis Company as a Comptroller. After that he worked for United Brands and was Vice President as well as the Treasurer. He was also a partner of Robert B. Anderson International Finance Company. Upon leaving Anderson International he was the President of Ameur International Trading Company and Warner & Whitney Finance. In 2001 he retired as the President of Montiel Trading Company in Stone Ridge.
On April 28, 1993 he married Janet K. Olsen
Born December 4, 1917 in Webster Groves, Missouri, he was the son of the late Thomas and Ann Helen Marie Johnson Warner Sr.
Survivors in addition to his wife, are his son Thomas K. Warner III of California; a daughter, Catherine de Lorimier of Bend, Oregon; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Cremation was private. The funeral arrangements were made by Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave, Kingston.
