Thomas F. Gallo, 70, of Kingston, NY, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Westchester Medical Center. He was born April 12, 1952 in Kingston, son of the late Frank Thomas Gallo and Antonette (Brocco) Gallo. Tom was married to his loving wife of 47 years, Deborah (Macholdt) Gallo, they wed on May 10, 1975.
Tom was a Kingston High School graduate, Class of 1970. He was drafted in 1971 by the Philadelphia Phillies. He also played for the Kingston Braves. He later worked for IBM for 40 years, retiring in 2018.
Tom was President of the City Minor Bowling League and played in the Kingston City Softball League for the Grand Slam and White Eagle teams for many years. He was an avid lover of sports, especially the NY Yankees and NY Giants, as well as the Oakland Raiders. He enjoyed visiting the racetrack at Saratoga and golfing.
Tom is survived by his wife, Deborah Gallo, his daughters, Michelle (Rick Wohlrab) Gallo and Melissa Gallo, his granddaughters, Kiera Gallo and Gianna Morano, his brother, Gary (Jodi) Gallo, his sister-in-law, Teri (Paul) Zweifel, his brother-in-law, Thomas (Cheryl) Macholdt, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and dear friends.
Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Tuesday September 20, 2022 from 4pm to 7pm. The funeral procession will form at the funeral home on Wednesday September 21, 2022 at 10am and will then proceed to St. Mary’s RC Church, 160 Broadway, Kingston, NY 12401 where at 11am a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated. Entombment will follow in Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston, NY.
