Theresa M. Simon of Gage Street, Kingston died Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Kingston Hospital. She was 76.
A native and lifelong Kingston resident she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Mary Mitchell Boughton. Theresa married Joseph Simon on October 24, 1953.
For 29 years Theresa worked as a crossing guard for Kingston Police Department. She retired in 1997. She was a member of the Metropolitan Knothole League in Kingston. Theresa participated in the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life.

Darwak and her husband Michael Sr. of Kingston, Joanne Palomba and her husband Mike of Kingston, Stephan Simon and his wife Luanne of Kingston, Joseph Simon and his companion Therese Creamer of Kingston, Lorraine F. Studt of Daphne, AL and Michael Simon and his wife Barbara of Kingston; sister of Kenneth Boughton, Charles Boughton and Robert Boughton all of Kingston, MaryAnn Hill of Glasco and the late Linda Marie Boughton; grandmother of Melissa Darwak-Jones, Michael Darwak Jr.; Joseph Jr., and Justin Simon; Christa Simon, Bethany Daily, Ben Simon, Edward Cercone, Ryan, Kayla and Michael Simon Jr., Mariah Candelario and the late Matthew Studt; great grandmother of Rebecca Jones, Ryan Simon Jr., Ben A. Simon, Noel and Eli Cercone, Isaiah Ramsey and Damian Daily. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Reposing at Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Sunday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. The funeral procession will form on Monday at 9 AM from Simpson � Gaus. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Colman's Church at 10 AM. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
