Theresa Landi

Theresa Landi of Clifton Ave., Kingston died Sunday, November 22, 2009 at South County Hospital in Wakefield, RI. She was 88. She was born February 8, 1921 in Kingston, a daughter of the late Anthony and Cristina Fiore Fabbie. Mrs. Landi was a seamstress at the former Kingston Knitting Mills. She was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Kingston. Her husband, Daniel Landi died April 22, 2006. Surviving is her son, Daniel Landi Jr. and his wife Sandra of North Kingstown, RI; two brothers, Peter and Anthony Fabbie; three sisters, Frances Polacastro, Josephine Lotumbo and Susan Mackey. Three great-granchildren, Jacob, Joshua, Catherine and Rebecca Landi and many nieces and nephews also survive. Three brothers, Frank, Joseph and Thomas Fabbie and two sisters, Mary Amendola and Margaret Papillo and two grandsons, Christopher A. Landi and Steven Michael Landi died previously. Friends may gather at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9 - 10 AM. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM at Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston by Fr. Edmund Burke. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of one's own choice.
