Theodore F. Salvucci of Broad, St. died January 11, 2012 at NY Presbyterian Hospital. He was 86.
He was born in West Hurley, a son of the late Dominic and Crisis Antinucci Salvucci. A Kingston High School graduate, Class of '44, Mr. Salvucci then entered the US Navy during WWII. After he returned from service he began working at the family restaurant, Salvucci's. He worked in all aspects of the restaurant and retired, when the business closed, in 1990.
His dear friend Diane LeClaire, two brothers William and Victor Salvucci and sister Gilda Tiano all died previously.
Surviving are his son, Charles and his wife Jennifer and their five children of CT; his sister Eva Salvucci Oster of West Hurley; seven nieces and nephews George and Robert Woerthman, Domenic Salvucci Jr., Kim Rose, Vicki Buley, Gilda Eckert and Stephanie Silk.
Reposing at the Simpson Gaus Fuenral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral procession will form on Saturday at 9:00am from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John's Church, West Hurley at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc.
