Thelma C. Frederickson

Thelma C. Frederickson, 74, of George Sickle Road, Saugerties, NY, died Thursday, September 10, 2009 at Benedictine Hospital. She was born May 28, 1935 in Saugerties, to the late Percy and Louise (Abeel) Doyle.




Mrs. Frederickson was the wife of the late James H. Frederickson, who died May 10, 2006. She was a graduate of Saugerties High School.




She had been a child care provider, licensed by the New York State, and had also been a foster parent.



In her youth she had attended St. Mary's of the Snow RC Church in Saugerties and then St. Catherine Labouree RC Church, Lake Katrine.
She had enjoyed square dancing with her husband, playing the piano, and reading.





Thelma is survived by her son James J. Frederickson, and his wife Tanya Frederickson, granddaughters Jennifer and Danielle Frederickson, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother and two sisters.




Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Snow RC Church on Monday at 11 am.






Burial in Mt View Cemetery, Saugerties. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.
