Terry L. Krueger, 56, a lifelong resident of Kingston, died Thursday, March 1, 2018 at his home.
Born in Kingston, he was a son of the late John & Verna Miller Krueger.
Terry graduated Onteora High School with a certificate from the Bocies Program in welding. He began his working career at Feeney Enterprises in 1980 as a welder fixing barges. Through his career of 35 years at Feeneys he worked his way up from welder to supervisor of the dry dock loading and unloading barges and tugs. Terry loved his job there!
Terry loved rock music, especially Pink Floyd and could tell you the artist of every rock song that came on the radio. He was also a willing participant to every family event, like the Annual Krueger Picnic and a helper to family and friends when needed. The last 5 years of his life saw a gradual decline in his health.
Terry is survived by his four siblings, Patricia Rosa of Lexington, NY, David Krueger of Ulster Park, Kenneth Krueger and his wife Patti of Stewart, FL and Tim Krueger and his wife Patty of Olivebridge. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, Terry was predeceased by two brothers, John & Scott Krueger.
The family will receive friends at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 1-3 PM.
A graveside service will follow in Montrepose Cemetery, with Pastor Darlene Kelley of the Clinton Avenue Unite Methodist Church, officiating.
