Teresa C. Wood

Teresa (Carr) Wood, 83, of Kingston, NY, died Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at The Benedictine Hospital, Kingston, NY. She was born June 19, 1927 in Kingston, NY to the late Martin and Clara Carr.

She was married to Richard K. Wood.

Teresa was a lifelong resident of Kingston and a graduate of Kingston High School.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children Richard K. Wood Jr. and his wife Karen of Danbury, CT, Robert D. Wood and his wife Micki of Hurley, NY, David S. Wood and his wife Toni of Raleigh, NC, William R. Wood and his wife Gina of Raleigh, NC, Patricia W. Connors and her husband Steve of Hurley, NY, Barbara A. McCardle and her husband Joseph of Kingston, NY, Cynthia W. deOlde and her husband Stephen Jr. of Kingston, NY, eight grandchildren, brothers Martin and Bernard Carr, sisters Patricia Camp and Clara Scheffel as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her brother Frederick Carr.


Entrusted to the care of the A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, NY 12401, where friends may call on Sunday March 27th from 1 - 4 pm

A private service will be held on Monday with entombment in Wiltwyck Cemetery.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society,
