Susan Killeen Whalen

Susan “Susie” Killeen Whalen, 55, of Port Ewen, NY, passed away in the comfort of her home on November 17, 2022. She was born on April 4, 1967 in Kingston, New York and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Joan Killeen, Sr.

She was a graduate of Kingston High School, and for many years she had worked at Ulster County Community College, she loved to garden, roses were her favorite, she was a crafty woman who loved to socialize and be with people. Her best friend was her dog Pongo.

She is survived by her children Christina Whalen and Daniel (Brianne) Whalen, her brother Thomas Killeen, Jr. (Toni Snyder) nephews Peter & Kevin Craig and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister Kathleen Craig.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 216 Broadway, Port Ewen, NY The family will receive their friends on Friday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  The service will be on Saturday at 10am at the funeral home.
