Susan E. LaLima, 74, of Kingston, NY, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019 at her home in Marbletown, NY. She was born on June 10, 1945 in Kingston, NY the daughter of the late Martin and Gladys Trowbridge.
She worked for Lowes in Kingston for over 20 years. She was also the treasured owner of Mr. Broadway's Pizza in Kingston for decades. Sue impacted the lives of many people with her ability to love and bring joy to everyone she encountered. She was an integral part of building the midtown Kingston community. From the arts to healthy eating, she was an avid advocate and investor in the area. Above all, she loved her family. She touched the lives of so many. Her selflessness was one of her greatest attributes. She had the ability to see and accept everyone for who they were. In her presence, everyone felt the joy and love that emanated from her.
She is survived by her son, Joseph LaLima and daughter in law, Liz Baker; her grandchildren Giuseppe, Chone, Fabian, and James; her brother and his wife Donald and Carol Trowbridge; two nieces, Jane and Lynda Trowbridge; cousins, Earl, Kathy, Richard and Belinda Rau; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; her pups Cocoa and LaLa; and her extended Lowe's family. She is predeceased by her brother Walter Trowbridge and her sister Ruth Mondore who passed six years to the date on July 29, 2013.
Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. Family and friends may visit at His Word Revealed Church, 205 State Route 28, Kingston, NY 12401, on Friday August 2nd from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with the funeral service starting at 1:00 pm.
