Susan A. Benincasa

Susan Ann Benincasa, passed into the hands of the Lord, surrounded by good friends and family with a ribbon of love on Tuesday, April 9, 2013. She was 57. She was born in Kingston, a daughter of Mary Ferraro Benincasa and the late Albert Benincasa. A Kingston High School graduate, class of '74, Susan then began a career as a hairdresser. For 27 years, Susan co-owned and operated with her lifelong friends and business partners Joseph Perry and Michael McGowan, Rage Hair Salon, uptown Kingston. Surviving are her mother, Mary Benincasa of Cathedral City, CA, her sister Donna Fleckenstein and her husband Dan of Cathedral City, CA, her God children Dylan DeCesare, Fawn McGowan and Vincent Rapp; and her beloved companion Bella. Reposing at the Simpson Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Sunday 1:00 8:00 pm. The funeral procession will form on Monday at 9:00 am from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
