Steven Charles “Pops” Curtis, 68, of Kingston, NY passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at HealthAlliance Hospital, Broadway Campus in Kingston, NY. He was born April 16, 1953 in Kingston, NY, son of the late Robert and Dolores (Gregory) Curtis.
Pops was a Kingston High School Graduate, Class of 1971. He formerly worked at Spiesman's Bakery where he was a Chef and Baker. He later owned and operated Steve's Lawncare in Kingston for many years. He enjoyed playing the guitar, listening to music and singing. He also liked scratch off tickets, electronics, going to Rider Park to watch the water, and cooking. Pops also enjoyed the company of his beloved cats, Jilly and Puss.
Pops is survived by his wife, Linda Lee Curtis of Kingston, his children, Linda Lee Coddington-Trinceri and her husband Michael Trinceri of Kingston, Clinton Lee Coddington and his wife Nicole Coddington of Kingston, David Coddington and his fiancé Joie Garris of South Carolina, Lisa Mae Coddington and her fiancé Harry Sanford of Pennsylvania, James Mayo of Kingston, Joseph Clark of Kingston, and Boo Coddington of Kingston, 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, his sister, Susan Bierganns and her husband Henry Bierganns of Saugerties, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Robert Curtis.
Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY, 12401 where family and friends may visit on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 3pm to 6pm. The funeral procession will form at 9am on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the funeral home and proceed to Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston, NY, where at 10am a graveside service will be held.
