Steve Grunbaum

Steve Grunbaum, 91, of Braun Drive, Saugerties died Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at Kingston Hospital. He was born March 11, 1914 in Hungary. He was a Holocaust survivor and frequently spoke to area grammar and high schools on the subject. He was employed as a presser in the garment industry in New York City. His wife, Sarah Charlotte Braun Grunbaum died March 18, 2000. Surviving is his son David Grunbaum and his wife Anne of Saugerties, three grandchildren, Benjamin, Rebecca and Deborah and a brother, Armin Grunbaum of San Diego, CA. He was predeceased by nine brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday at 12:00 noo at Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston. Cantor Robert Cohen will officiate.
