Stephen T. Leoce of Delaware Ave., Kingston died Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Benedictine Hospital. He was 75.
He was born in Newburgh on October 21, 1933, a son of the late Anthony and Assunta "Susan" Vallo Leoce. From 1952 - 1954 Mr. Leoce served in the US Navy on the USS Purdy.
On May 25, 1958 he married Shirley Rienzo.
For 37 years he worked at I.B.M. in Kingston and Poughkeepsie. He retired as a buyer in 1992.
A member of the Morgan Hill Game Association, he was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 50 years, Shirley Leoce, are one son Stephen T. Leoce II of Leesburg, VA; three brothers Frank Leoce of Marlboro, Anthony and Lewis Leoce, both of Newburgh, two sisters Margaret Cracollici of Newburgh, Anna Capen of Buffalo; four sister in laws Florence, Gail, Mary and Eleanor Leoce; many nieces and nephews.
One brother Albert Leoce and one sister Marianne Visconti, both died previously.
Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral procession will form on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church at 10:00 a.m. Entombment, with miliary tribute by Joyce - Schirick Post 1386 V.F.W., will follow in Wiltwyck Community Mausoleum.
