Stephen D. Nagy, 58, of Kingston, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was born March 19, 1953 in Kingston to the late George and Lena (Perry) Nagy.
Stephen was a graduate of Saugerties High School class of 1971.
He had been employed by Laborers Local #17 of Newburgh for many years and then went on to work for the Ulster County Highway Department.
Stephen enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his son, Shane Nagy and his wife Erin, his daughter, Jennifer Nagy-Rylance, grandson, Benjamin Rylance, all of Kingston, his siblings, John and his wife Christine Nagy of NJ, George Nagy Jr. and his wife Susan of NC, and Susan Weinman and her husband David of Newburgh, as well as aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Entrusted to the care of Eric Keyser of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401 where friends may call on Sunday from 4 - 7 pm. The funeral procession will form on Monday at 9am and then proceed to St. Colman's RC Church where at 10am a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.
