Stavros T Amarianos

Stavros T. Amarianos, 90, of Kingston, passed Friday morning, April 4, 2014 at Northern Dutchess Hospital, Rhinebeck. He was born March 17, 1924 in Andros,Greece, the son of the late Theodore and Olga Amarianos. At an early age he moved to Athens and then served in the Greek Army.


In Greece he had owned and operated a shoe factory and in 1968 he immigrated to this country with his family and was employed as a chef until his retirement.


He was the loving husband of Andrianna Amarianos, they wed on April 15, 1948, beloved father of Olga Moustakas of Kingston, Theodore Amarianos of Kingston, father in law of Harry Moustakas, grandfather of Anthony Moustakas and Andreana Petersen and her husband Reife, great grandfather of Andrianna Olga Moustakas


The family extends their deepest gratitude and appreciation for the loving care their father received at the Kingston Hospital, Northern Dutchess Hospital and the Ferncliff Nursing Home, 5th floor.


The Mass will be at St. George's Greek Orthodox Church on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Burial in Montrepose Cemetery
