Starr Rue Brueckner

Town of Ulster - Starr Rue Brueckner of Dalewood St. died Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Wingate At Ulster. She was 83. She was born in Kingston, the daughter of the late William and Julia Post Anderson. Starr was a graduate of Kingston High School, Class of 1950. She retired as a bookkeeper for the architectural firm of Cabarrea & Barricklo in Kingston. An active organizer of many Class of 1950 reunions, she enjoyed the outdoors doing yardwork and gardening, traveling, reading and being with her family. Her husband, Robert F. Brueckner died January 24, 2002. Surviving are her son, David Raible of Arizona, her daughter Suzie Schupp and her husband Martin of Ulster Park; five grandchildren, Jaynelynn Mercer and Stephen, Carly, Laura and Andrew Schupp. Two great-granddaughters also survive. Entrusted to the care of A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave., Kingston where friends will be received on Tuesday from 4 - 6 PM.
