Smith "Smitty" Conover

Smith "Smitty" Conover, Jr., 66, of Kingston, NY, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 3, 2021. He was born February 1, 1954 in Kingston, NY son of the late Smith W. Conover, Sr. and Olive (Bunten) Conover.

Over the years Smitty worked as a Chef at various restaurants in the Kingston area. He enjoyed reading, writing, and taking long walks around Kingston. Above all he loved his family, especially going to McDonald's for Big Macs with his nephew, "Little Brian".

He is survived by his sister, Sarah Conover, his niece, Jody Winters, his nephews, Brian and Kevin Dugan, his great niece, Brionna Lapierre, his great great nephew, Angelo Strickland, as well several aunts and uncles. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister Ethel Conover.
