Siegmund Eugene Arp

Arp, Siegmund Eugene (Sieg/Siggy) on 17 September 2015. Beloved husband of Ragnhild (Rannie) V. (nee Jorgensen). Devoted father of the late Sigmund H. Loving Grandfather of Heather M. Arp and Tyler Wilson-Arp. Dear brother of Fritz M. the late Liane Ochs. Dear brother in law off Brigitte. H. Arp, his late best friend Alfred Ochs, Elisabeth Ostervold and husband Bernt.
He will be missed by his faithful companion Maxie. He is survived by many Nieces and Nephews, and a multitude of cousins here and abroad. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving on the U.S.S. Yosemite (AD-19), and long time member of American Legion Post # 950 in Phoenicia, serving on the Honor Guard detail.
He was a Master Licensed Electrician of Arp Electric, and a Stationary Engineer and Retired employee of Ametek-Rotron Woodstock, New York. He had a unique knack for drawing and was creative, designing and making unusual lamps, statues, and stone creations. He was known as a terrific story teller and had a one of a kind sense of Humor
The family will receive relatives and friends Saturday Oct. 3, 11am to 12:30pm at American Legion Post # 950 1045 Old State Route 28 Phoenicia. Memorial and American Legion Services will follow with burial at Mount Pleasant Rural Cemetery Shandaken, New York.
Siggy will be missed by all. Prost!!!
