Shirley Paulding

Shirley M. Paulding, 89, of Hurley, NY, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at home. She was born on May 26, 1934 in Saugerties, NY, to the late Charles and Mabel (Simmons) Winters. She was married to the late William G. Paulding, Sr. on August 7, 1952, in Saugerties, NY. William passed away on December 20, 1995.

Shirley was a graduate of Saugerties High School and worked for Kingston Hospital for many years. She was a lover of all animals, especially birds.

Shirley is survived by her children, Cheryl Stoutenburg and her husband Glenn of Hurley, William G. Paulding Jr. of Hurley, Shirley "Cookie" Tucker of Kingston, and Eric Paulding of Saugerties, as well as 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and several cousins.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Wednesday November 29, 2023 from 11am to 12pm. Burial will follow in Montrepose Cemetery, Kingston, NY.
