Shirley J. Langon

Kingston - Shirley J. Langon of Maple Lane died Monday, April 11, 2016 at home. She was 80. She was born in Kingston, a daughter of the late Willis and Leona Kelderhouse Gardner. A graduate of Kingston High School, Mrs. Langon had been employed at Ferroxcube in Saugerties. She enjoyed crafts. Her husband, Lester Langon died previously. Surviving are four sons, Stanley Langon of Leeds, Lester Langon of Kingston, Anthony Langon of San Antonio, TX, Gene Langon of Watertown; three daughters, Laura Benton of Hurley, Phyllis Horbert of Kingston and Rosemarie Langon of Saugerties. Thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews also survive. Three sisters, Lena Gardner, Eva Hannibal, Helen Gardner, five brothers, Clarence "Buzz" Gardner, Harry Gardner, Fred Gardner, Bill Gardner, Willis Gardner Jr. and two grandsons, Joshua Langon and Michael Langon died previously. Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston where friends will be received on Thursday from 3 -7 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 PM.
