Shelley M. Baulsir

Shelley M. Baulsir, 50, of Saugerties, passed peacefully on Sunday evening, after her valiant five year battle with breast cancer, at the Hospice Inn, St. Peter's Hospital, Albany.

She was born March 28, 1962 in Kingston, the daughter of Frances Sgroi Ostrander and the late Frank Ostrander. She was the wife of Howard E. Baulsir; they wed on August 29, 1987 at St. Joseph's RC Church.

Shelley was a graduate of Kingston High School, class of 1980, Ulster County Community College and SUNY New Paltz, with a bachelors in accounting.

Shelley was the Office Manager at Schneider's Jewelry, Kingston.

She loved the Ocean and the Beach, where the sky was blue and the sun was warm. She especially loved spending time with her husband, her boys and all her family.

In addition to her husband and her mother, Shelley is survived by her sons Eric H. and Bryan P. Baulsir of Saugerties, a brother Michael Ostrander of Santa Cruz, CA, four nieces and a nephew. She was predeceased by her sister, Diana G Travis.

Entrusted to the care of Eric Keyser, Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, Friends may call on Wednesday from 2- 4 & 7 - 9 pm. The procession will form on Thursday at 10 am and proceed to St. Joseph's RC Church where at 11:00 am a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial in Montrepose Cemetery
