Shawanda "Buddha" Ann Kinyon, 29, of Colonial Drive, Kingston, died Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Albany Medical Center, Albany, after a lengthy illness. She was born October 24, 1979 in Kingston, to


Barbara Kinyon and Alvin Wright..




She had attended Kingston High School and had worked as a waitress at Friendly's Restaurant prior to her lengthy illness. She was a very outgoing person, loved to travel and shop and especially spend time with her beloved family




In addition to her parents Shawanda is survived by her son Devron Kinyon, sister Wanitta Kinyon, brother Jovan Parker, maternal grandmother Magaline Kinyon, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.






A Homegoing Service will be held at His Word Revealed Church, 119 Barbarosa Lane on Monday at 12:00 pm. Pastor Theodore VanDyke, officiating. Friends may call at His Word Revealed Church, on Monday from 10 - 12 pm. Burial in Wiltwyck Cemetery.
