Sharon Fallon

Sharon Elizabeth Fallon, 73, of West Saugerties, NY passed away on Sunday, February 11^th, 2024, at her home after a long battle with cancer. She was born on November 10, 1950 in Kingston, NY, to the late Charles Henry Bahr and Helen Elizabeth (Renn) Bahr.

Sharon dedicated her life work as a secretary and executive assistant. For the first 25 years of her career, she worked at IBM in Lake Katrine, NY. Thereafter, she worked at Ulster Home Health in Kingston, NY, Simulaids in Saugerties, NY, and retired from the Kingston Hospital Human Resources Department in 2017 after 17 years of service.  She was a kind, caring, and extremely organized person who will be deeply missed by many.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 49 years Russell Stanley Fallon, Jr., and survived by their son Derek Scott Fallon and wife Katie, and daughter Courtney Elizabeth Fallon. She is also survived by her sister Carol A. Bahr, sisters-in-law Claudette Zinkow and Cindy Murphy, granddaughter Alexi Katarina, and grandsons Derek Zachary and Russell Jace. Sharon will also be greatly missed by her extended family and friends, including nephew Michael Zinkow, Jr., brothers-in-law Michael Zinkow, Sr. and James Murphy, and close friends Patti Hayes, Linda Mead, Sherry Van Loan, and neighbor Robert Rudolph.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc. A graveside service will be held at Montrepose Cemetery, 75 Montrepose Ave, Kingston, NY on February 24, 2024 at 10 am to honor and remember Sharon’s life. Family and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, a cause that was important to Sharon.
