Seymour Feldman, 94, of Hurley, died Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at his home.
Born in Brooklyn, he was a son of the late Irving & Minnie Feldman. He was a past president of the Queensboro Hill Jewish Center in Flushing, NY and a long time member of Congregation Ahavath Israel.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Rebecca Feldman of Hurley, whom he married on September 15, 1940, a daughter, Ellen Gust and her husband Alan of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, a son, Sheldon M. Feldman and his wife Gayle of NY, NY. Six grandchildren and two nieces and one nephew also survive. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a daughter, Fern A. Anolick and a sister, Jeanette Tilkin.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave at 11 am, Friday, November 29, with Cantor Devorah from Congregation Ahavath Israel.
Interment will follow in Knollwood Park Cemetery in Glendale, NY
