Sean F. Osterhoudt died suddenly on September 2, 2004. He was 27.
He was born May 5, 1977 in Kingston, a son of Diane M. Studler of Raleigh, NC and John F. Osterhoudt of Marlborough, MA.
He graduated from Leesville High School in Raleigh, NC and attended Appalachian University. In 1999, he moved to Boynton Beach, FL and was employed by Staples Office Supply.
He was an avid computer enthusiast and nature lover. He enjoyed being outdoors, drawing and poetry.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his brother, Derek Osterhoudt of Raleigh, NC and his wife, Lindsay Cooke, his grandmother , Alice Studler of Boynton Beach, FL, his aunt and uncle, Marianne and James Crist of Woodstock and cousins, Nicholas and Beth along with many great aunts and uncles.
His grandmother, Violet Osterhoudt of Kingston and his grandfather, Albin Studler of Catskill died previously.
Friends will be received on Saturday at 10:30 am at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston. At 11:00 am, a memorial service will be conducted at the funeral home by Revs. Ivan Gossoo and David Bronson. Sean’s cremated remains will be scattered in the mountain areas the he loved so much.
