Scott VanGaasbeck

Scott VanGaasbeck, 58, of Kingston, NY, passed peacefully at home on November 20, 2024, surrounded by family. He was born in Kingston, NY and was a professional truck driver and heavy machine operator. 

Scott is survived by his wife, Stacy (Carmody) VanGaasbeck, his stepdaughter, Rena Paterno, his mother-in-law, Carmella Carmody, his father-in-law, John Bernhardt, his sister-in-law, Dona Becker, as well as his beloved pets and constant companions, Sunny, a rescued Chihuahua, and Lilly, a rescued bearded dragon. Scott was predeceased by his mother, Gloria, his father, Paul, and his older brother, Paul. 

The family would like to thank the entire staff of Hudson Valley Hospice, especially Kevin and Ashley for taking such great care of Scott.
