Sandra Quick-Boyce

Sandra Quick-Boyce, 59, a lifelong resident of Kingston, died suddenly on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at her home. Born in Kingston, she was a daughter of the late Harold & Hildegarde Taubman Carleton. Sandy worked as a dietary aide at Kingston Hospital for over 20 years. She enjoyed the beach and music concerts, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with people, especially her friends and family. Sandras greatest attribute was the love and care that she showed to her children and grandsons. Her kindness didnt stop there but was extended to anyone she met. She loved unconditionally. Sandy is survived by her two children, Melanie Quick of California and Ernie J. Quick and his wife Stephanie of Saugerties, a brother, James Carleton and his wife Cheri of Michigan. Three grandsons, Andrew, Aaron and Caleb and one niece, Megan also survive. Sandy will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave on Monday, July 17, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday at the funeral home at 10:00 AM with Reverend Andy McCutcheon from Wesleyan Community Church in Shokan. Interment will follow in Montrepose Cemetery. The family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
